Sarah Geronimo-Coco Martin Team Up: 'Malakas Ang Kilig Factor'

ALTHOUGH SARAH Geronimo is now said to be going steady with Matteo Guidicelli, her new project doesn’t pair her with him but with Coco Martin, with whom she did the musical soap, “Idol”, on TV some years ago when Coco was not the Teleserye King yet that he is now. This time, they’re teamed up on the big screen in the movie titled “Maybe This Time”, directed by Jerry Sineneng. This is Star Cinema’s next offering (co-prod with Viva) on the big screen after “Da Possessed” which is now doing well at the tills.

Sarah says doing their movie is a big challenge for her as it’s a drama, not the usual romantic comedies she did with before with John Lloyd Cruz and Gerald Anderson. “At dahil kilala si Coco na napakagaling sa drama, siempre, macha-challenge ka kapag kaeksena mo siya. But I really enjoy working with him kasi he’s such an endearing person and talagang ‘yung smile ni Coco, siya lang ang may ganung klaseng smile. Magaan katrabaho.”

But is there magic in their chemistry? “Yes,” says Direk Jerry Sineneng. “Malakas ang kilig factor nila on screen kaya tiyak na maraming magiging interesado sa kanilang tambalan.”

As for Coco, this is his second movie this year as he has already wrapped up work for the heavy drama, “Padre de Pamilya” with Nora Aunor, but this movie with Sarah will be shown ahead of that.
