Vic Sotto, Jose Manalo, Ryan Agoncillo Go Dramatic In 'Eat Bulaga's' Holy Week Offering On Holy Wednesday

RYAN AGONCILLO and Pauleen Luna topbill “Anyo ng Pag-ibig”, “Eat Bulaga’s” Lenten presentation on Holy Wednesday, along with Jimmy Santos, Ruby Rodriguez, Krystal Reyes and Valerie Weigman, directed by Mike Tuviera. It is an inspirational tale about Venus, a woman born with no hair and teeth. Despite this Venus bravely faces the world, strives to succeed in life and holds on to the belief that true love will find her one day.

The second episode will star Vic Sotto, Jose Manalo, Anjo Yllana and Ryzza Mae Dizon, “Pangalawang Bukas,” directed by Bibeth Orteza. A prodigal son’s story, “Pangalawang Bukas” is about a test of faith and spiritual renewal. Alex is a former choir member whose wife leaves him after he goes blind. Their daughter, Angel, is left under his care as well. Minggoy, meanwhile, is a successful talent manager, who goes astray because of his boss. On the other hand, Father Reyes is an ambitious priest who would stop at nothing to become a monsignor. His ambition and pride lead him to destruction.

The three men’s path cross due to an incident in church. Each one relentlessly points an accusing finger at the others. And, unfortunately, Angel bears witness to all nasty encounters. See how Alex, Minggoy and Father Reyes are transformed into better men by knowing and renewing their faith in God.
