RICHARD GUTIERREZ has finished shooting an action-suspense thriller with GMA Films, “Overtime”, and is now busy taping the reality show “It Take Gutz to be a Gutierrez” with his family for the E! Channel. It’s been reported that he’s next project is a movie for Star Cinema with Angelica Panganiban but this piece of news is a bit premature. Although there is such an offer and Richard likes the project, he just can’t do it because he still has am existing contract with GMA Films that will expire in July yet, unless the Kapuso Network would willingly lend him to the film arm of ABS-CBN.
As for “Overtime”, it’s filming has been completed, with him starring with Lauren Young and directed by Wincy Ong, but he doesn’t know yet as to when it’s going to be shown. GMA Films is said to be still looking for a good playdate. As of now, Richard is just happy that his girlfriend, Sarah Lahbati, was able to make an impressive comeback on GMA-7 when she did a lively musical number that got very positive feedback in “Sunday All Stars” last weekend.
