Jennica Garcia And Alwyn Uytingco Are Going Steady For Four Years Now

JENNICA GARCIA and Alwyn Uytingco are going steady for four years now. Recently, GMA-7 scheduled an interview with Jennica for “Carmela” at 3 PM while Alwyn also had a scheduled interview for TV5’s “Beki Boxer”, also at the same time. We went to interview Alwyn first and he says he and Jennica are aware of their respective skeds and they’ll be meeting each other after the interviews with them. Both made it clear that they have no plans yet of getting married.

“Unang-una, I want us to have a house of our own para sa magiging family namin.”

Alwyn’s contract with TV5 is about to expire. Happy naman ako sa TV5 because they’ve given me really good projects like ‘Babaeng Hampaslupa’, ‘Kapitan Awesome’, ‘Sa Ngalan ng Ina’, ‘Nandito Ako’, ‘Cassandra’ and now, ‘Beki Boxer’ na ako ang title role.”

Jennica is so happy for Alwyn’s career. “Noong first time na maging kami, sira-sira ang kotse niya. But lagi niyang sinasabi, ‘Magsisikap ako. Ayan nga, naging regular ang work niya sa TV5, but he hasn’t changed. Sweet pa rin siya. Binigyan pa ako ng puhunan para sa cake shop ko for cats and dogs.”

Alwyn is getting great feedback as the gay boxer Rocky Ponciano in “Beki Boxer” where he has a love interest, Vin Abrenica. They almost had kissing scene when Vin drowned while swimming and Alwyn nearly gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. So gusto kong ma-maintain na wholesome and pampamilya ang show namin kaya hindi dapat lagyan ng love scene between me and Vin. Ako nga, may kissing scene na noong I played a gay character in ‘Tanging Ina’, pero smack lang with Andrew Wolff. But ang nangyari, it was edited out kasi nga naman, comedy na pampamilya yung movie namin. As it is, very positive ang comments ng viewers sa aming show, lalo na sa social media, gustong-gusto nila.

This coming week, Alwyn says he’ll be doing a lot of fight scenes on the ring. Magkakaroon din ng bagong characters played by Danita Paner as Vin’s new love interest, Ryan Yllana, Jerald Napoles and Brent Manzano. Maraming mangyayari kaya abangan ninyo.”
