Katrina Halili Ready To Forgive Hayden Kho

KATRINA HALILI looks so sexy at the presscon of “Nino” you won’t think she already has a baby daughter called Katrence. After playing a string of villain roles, she’s glad to play someone who’s good and faultless in “Nino” as Hannah, the mother of teen stars Tanfelix and Renz Valerio. Didn’t she have any qualms accepting the role of a mom of two teenage kids?

“Hindi naman ako choosy,” she says. “Ang importante sa’kin, may trabaho ako. Isa pa, very positive values ang ibinibigay ng ‘Nino’ so I’m proud to be part of it. At masaya rin ako rito kasi reunion namin ito ng mga kasama ko sa ‘Munting Heredera’, sina Direk Maryo de los Reyes, Gloria Romero, Luz Valdez at Neil Ryan Sese. At maganda yung role ko. The story starts na magmamadre ako. Yun kasi ang gusto ng parents ko. But the mother superior saw na I’m not happy sa loob ng kumbento so pinalabas ako. Nagpakasal kami ni Tom Rodriguez. Tapos, pinaanod niya ito sa ilog para makaligtas yung bata, na napulot naman ni Angelu de Leon who just had a miscarriage. Sila ng mister niyang si Neil Ryan ang magpapalaki rito, with Lolas Gloria Romero and Luz Valdez.”

Does she plan to have another baby with Kris Lawrence? “Ay, hindi. Bago baby uli, kasal muna. Maraming nagbago sa views ko after I became a mom. Iniisip ko agad ang sasabihin ng anak ko. Akala ng iba, nagli-live in kami but we’re not. May kanya-kanya kaming mga bahay. Kaya lang, hindi pa kami ready magpakasal. Marami pang dapat ayusin.”

We told her: “Birthday niya, a. Binati mo ba?”

She said: “Sino?” And we said, “Si Manay Lolit Solis.”

But in truth, we’re referring to Hayden Kho, who has the same birthday as Manay Lolit. Both she and Hayden are now born again Christians. Is there a possibility of them patching things up? “Why not? Kung ang Diyos nga, nakakapagpatawad, e. If he really found the Lord, I’m happy for him. Isa pa, masyado na akong masaya ngayon sa buhay ko, kaya wala ng problema.”

Meantime, her partner Kris Lawrence will be a special guest tonight in “Mars” at 7 PM on GMA News TV Channel 11, along with Sheryl Cruz. Kris will even show how to prepare breakfast burrito.
