Kris Aquino Yearns For The One That Got Away: Mayor Herbert Bautista

KRIS AQUINO returns to “The Buzz” this Sunday. It’ll be recalled that when it became “Buzz ng Bayan”, Charlene Gonzales and Toni Gonzaga were booted out and replaced by Janice de Belen and Carmina Villaroel who came from the axed “Showbiz Insider Report”. Now, Janice and Carmina have been given their walking papers and are now both jobless since they also don’t have existing teleseryes. Obviously, ABS-CBN is out to obliterate their rival show, GMA-7’s “Startalk”, what with the formidable tandem of Aquino and Abunda now anchoring “The Buzz”.

Kris is really in the news these days. It’s another case of “all is well that ends well” for her. She said in her TV show that she now likes her ex-hubby James Yap’s new kulukudidang, Italian Michela Cazzola, simply because Michela tried to win her son Bimby. For the boy’s recent birthday, Michela gave her a cake and some gifts.

"In fairness to her, naghanda talaga siya,” she says. “Cute ng mga gifts niya for Bimby. I like her na. At least she's good to my son. I give her an A for effort. And alam niya kung ano ang mga gusto ni Bimby. Alam niya na Bimby likes yung soft drink na starts with letter S and blue yung favorite color niya."

Kris revealed that, initially, Bimby wouldn’t want to tell her about it as she might get mad. “When I asked if he had fun, parang nahihiya siyang magkuwento. He said, ‘Yeah, I did. Are you mad?’ So I said, ‘Of course not.’ He thought siguro I might get hurt kung nag-enjoy siya. E, I invited her naman talaga sa birthday party ni Bimby then but she decided not to come.”



Kris said Michela sent her a text message through James, which says: "I truly appreciate your invitation. I do not want to intrude in this special occasion but I'm looking forward to other chances to celebrate. Wishing the birthday boy a wonderful party.”

So when she got the chance to give her gifts to Bimby, she did and it really made the boy happy. Everybody is now happy. But still, Kris is still pining for the one that got away, QC Mayor Herbert, who turned 46 on May 12. She’s obviously referring to him when she greeted someone Happy Birthday in her Instagram account.

She wrote: “You admitted to me you still check my IG, so here’s hoping you do get to read this. You made my birthday extremely special & memorable just because you were there. I may not be around, and we’ve distanced ourselves on purpose but nevertheless you do know how I continue to pray for your success, peace of mind & heart, and lasting happiness... Happy Birthday! #may122014. I will always have this piece of my heart that smiles whenever I think about you.”
