Marian Rivera Says Viewers Will Not Forget The Explosive Ending Of 'Carmela'

MARIAN RIVERA says the explosive ending of “Carmela” this Friday night is something viewers will not soon forget. “Pasabog talaga at makikita nyo kung ano ang mangyayari sa pagnanais ni Carmela na makapaghiganti kay Roi Vinzon as Fernando na gumahasa sa ina niyang si Agot Isidro at kay Jaclyn Jose as Trixie na pumatay sa kapatid niyang si Janine,” she says. “Lahat ng characters na involved sa story, may kanya-kanyang magandang closure so don’t miss it. Malalaman nyo rin kung ano ang mangyayari sa love story namin ni Alden Richards as Yago. Magkakatuluyan ba kami o tuluyang magkakalayo dahil sa aming family feud?”

After their last taping day, Marian treated the whole production to an overnight stay with dinner and swimming at the Camaya Coast in Mariveles, Bataan. It’s her way of thanking all of them for their successful collaboration as “Carmela” is such a big hit. Marian took her own mom, Mama Amelia, and grandma, Lola Francisco, with them to the outing and they saw how well loved she is by everyone. This is part of her Mother’s Day treat for both of them.

Earlier, she also treated the moms of children with disabilities in Phase 4, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. This is part of her duties as the Ambassador for Women and Children with Disability. She gave them free dinner plus gifts. “Masaya akong maitaguyod ang mga karapatan ng mga kakabaihan at kabataang may kapansanan,” she says. “Tungkulin nating lahat na damayan sila at bigyang ha­laga natin sila sa ating lipunan.”

Marian was also a hit when she joined Jose and Wally with Paolo Ballesteros for the “Juan for All, All for Juan” portion of “Eat Bulaga” last Tuesday. They went to a home in Brgy. Gitnang Bayan, San Mateo and Marian gave her own cash prize to the mom who owns the house and also gave the watch she’s wearing to the teenage son. “Tulong ko pong pangkabuhayan sa inyo,” she says.
