The Gutierrez Family A Big Hit In Singapore When They Promoted Their Reality Show To The International Press

THE GUTIERREZ FAMILY was a big hit with the Asian Press when they went to Singapore and had a three-day series of print and TV interviews for writers and broadcasters from various Asian countries. Annabelle Rama was at first nervous to sit with husband Eddie Gutierrez and their kids Ruffa, Raymond and Richard as she’s not conversant in English as they are. But everyone thinks she conducted herself well during the interviews.

“Noong una, ayoko pang magpunta kasi akala ko, gagastos lang kami, but all expenses paid pala,” says Annabelle. “Pati Glam Team, provided nila. E ako, okay lang sa akin kahit ako mismo ang mag-ayos sa sarili ko. Si Ruffa lang naman ang problema. Sinabihan ko pa nga siyang pakiusapan ang mga make-up artist at hairstylists friends niya para sila na lang ang isasama namin, pero yun na nga, may na-assign na pala para sa bawat isa sa amin. Feeling VIP talaga ako sa importansiyang binigay sa amin ng NBC Universal at sa promotional activities they prepared for us. May panel discussion pa on social media on the first day. Second and third day, sinalang kami sa iba’t ibang interviews with the international media na iba-ibang sets and countries and invited. Then sa event na Music Matters, we appeared with Apl de Ap pati sa cocktail party that followed. Sa dami ng international press na nag-interview sa amin, feeling international star na talaga ako. The E! Channel people said very positive ang feedback sa trailer ng show namin na ipinalalabas nila internationally. Hindi lang daw rito sa Pilipinas ito inaabangan ngayon kundi pati sa iba’t ibang bansa. Malamang daw na magkaroon pa kami ng personal appearances in some of the countries where the Gutierrez Family reality will be shown.”

E! Channel/NBC Universal even hosted a press party for them at Kuro Restaurant. They were all surprised because everyone wants to have a picture taken with them. The E! Channel spent for the whole trip and they were given business class plane tickets and first class hotel accommodations. Not only that, they were given their own Glam Team who took care of their wardrobe and make-up for the press and TV interviews.

All in all, they stayed there for three days, but Raymond was asked to stay in Singapore to host the affair for Global YouTube stars as E! Channel was very much impressed with his hosting skills. “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” will start airing on June 1. Sunday), 9:00PM on E! at Skycable Channel 57, Cablelink Channel 33 and Cignal Cable Channel 25). Congratulations to Annabelle and the whole Gutierrez Family. Here’s wishing your show will truly be an international hit.
