“It’s okay, we can take constructive criticism,” says David, who’s older by five minutes. “We want to improve in what we’re doing.”
“We’re still new in hosting and dancing, and we’re still learning,” says Anthony. “But we’re glad that Lucy herself says we’re okay. We just want to thank all those who watch our show every Saturday night.”
What’s the difference between? “I’m more outgoing,” says David. “Anthony is more shy and introverted. Also, I’m taken.” He’s going steady with Miss World 1st runner up Gwen Ruais.
“As for me, I’m single and ready to mingle,” quips Anthony. “I’d rather concentrate on our studies since we’re 4th year irregular at San Beda taking up business, and we still play for their basketball team and now also busy hosting ‘Celebrity Dance Battle’. No time for love.”
How come it’s said he doesn’t approve of Gwen for David and he’s actually on with Ruffa Gutierrez? “No, I approve of Gwen for my brother. We’re okay. As for Ruffa, she’s a good family friend. Even our sister Tanya is close to her. She gives us good advice about local showbiz and also, we’re co-endorsers. She’s endorsing Cosmoskin and we’re endorsing Cosmocee. How come it’s reported that David and Gwen have broken up? “Yes, we heard about that, but it’s not true,” says David. “And we’re also not engaged like another reports says. I gave her a promise ring not an engagement ring. We’re only 22 so marriage is far from our mind.”
