ELIZABETH OROPESA doesn’t mind playing mom to Allen Dizon in “Kamkam(Greed)”. “The eldest, Henry, is a doctor. Also, the director is Joel Lamangan, who gave me a grand slam for ‘Bulaklak ng Maynila’. And I’d really like to work with him again. At maganda ang story about a local gangster with three wives, si Allen yun. Akong ina niya at iniintindi ko ang sitawsyon niya with his three wives. Nangyari kasi sa’kin yan noong araw. Ako ang first wife ni Meng Fei (the Chinese action star with whom she did a movie before and they have a son).
She’s happy that “Kamkam” got an A grade from the Cinema Evaluation Board, with glowing reviews. “It’s nice to be a part of a movie like this na sumasalamin sa tunay na buhay ng tao.
Beth is now also a licensed acupuncturist and alternative healer. “I specialize on cancer patients, lalo yung sobrang mahina o matanda na for chemo.
