Carla Abellana So Lucky To Have Two New Shows: 'My Destiny' & 'Ismol Family'

CARLA ABELLANA celebrated her birthday on June 12 but she didn’t get any greeting from ex-BF Geoff Eigenmann. Instead, she got a video greeting no less from Tom Rodriguez, who she worked with in “My Husband’s Lover” and “So It’s You”. The rumor is they’re already on as Tom has also broken up with GF Kaye Rivera, but Carla denies this, saying they’re just the best of friends.

Although she might be loveless now, Carla is still very happy as her career is on a roll. After all, she has no less than two new TV shows: “Ismol Family” that starts airing on June 22 and “My Destiny” that starts airing on June 30 to replace “Kambal Sirena”. She also has a new movie with Regal Entertainment, “Somebody to Love” directed by Joey Reyes, with Iza Calzado, Jason Abalos and Matteo Guidicelli.

“Nakakatuwa nga dahil may drama akong ‘My Destiny’, tapos may comedy rin akong ‘Ismol Family’,” she says. “Enjoy ako sa ‘Ismol Family’ kasi nakakatuwang gumawa ng sitcom. I play the OFW wife of Ryan Agoncillo in the story. Nasa Dubai ako and I just communicate with them through skype. This is under the direction of Dominic Zapata, na nakatrabaho ko na sa ‘My Husband’s Lover’ kaya sanay na kami sa isa’t isa. Sa ‘My Destiny’, reunited naman kami ni Tom Rodriguez. Anak ako ni Lorna Tolentino, along with Rhian Ramos, at sina Kuh Ledesma at Dennis Roldan naman ang parents niya.”
