Dina Bonnevie & Coney Reyes' Different Views On Romance Of Vic Sotto With Pauleen Luna

TWO EXES OF Vic Sotto are now up against each in their respective soaps: Coney Reyes (mom of his son Vico) and Dina Bonnevie (mom of his children Danica and Oyo). Coney is in GMA-7’s “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” as the protective mom of Dingdong Dantes while Dina plays scheming villain to Bea Alonzo in ABS-CBN’s “Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon”.

At the presscon of their respective shows, both of them were asked about what they can say about Vic’s current romance with the much young Pauleen Luna. Dina said she’s afraid the huge age gap might later pose a problem, like what happened to her sister who married a much older man and regretted it. Coney, on the other hand, is more circumspect about it.

“Huwag nyo na akong isali riyan,” she tells writers interviewing her. “Maayos kami ni Vic and he even has dinner with me and our son. Kasundo ko pati iba pang anak ni Vic so let’s leave at that. Yung sa kanila ni Pauleen, pabayaan na lang natin sila as long as they’re happy.”



Dina has remarried and is now with Vice Gov. Savellano of Ilocos Sur. How about Coney? Doesn’t she miss romance in her life? “Naku, as long may solid kang relationship with the Lord, hindi ka na maghahanap. Ang blessing, hindi lang naman sa lovelife yan kundi nasa peace of mind, sa katahimikan, kalusugan, masaya ka sa pamilya mo. Ang dami kong dapat ipagpasa­lamat. Kung makakaramdam man ako ng lungkot, kina-cast ko yun kay Lord para tulungan ako. Hindi naman Niya ako pinabayaan, like ngayon, dumating itong ‘Dalawang Mrs. Real’ at kahit saan ako magpunta, people tell me they watch it at gustong-gusto nila ang performance ko. Aangal pa ba ko sa mga blessing na ganyan?”
