Gov. Vilma Santos Tapes Her Dance Number For Marian Rivera's Dance Show

MARIAN RIVERA is so happy that Gov. Vilma Santos has already taped their dance number for her new show, “Marian”, last Friday. She quickly welcomed Ate Vi in her dressing room on taping day to thank her for taking time to be a guest in her show. Choreographer Geleen Eugenio then quickly taught Ate Vi the dance steps for the Domino Dance they’re supposed to do and she was able to master it quickly. After only just one rehearsal, they were able to tape it right away.

Director Louie Ignacio is so pleased because Ate Vi obviously hasn’t lost her knack for dancing. “Kahit akong mag-isa lang, I dance for exercise, para ko pawisan,” says Ate Vi. “May time ako lagi para diyan, also for my family and, siempre, for Batangas and its people.”

Will she really run for the vice presidency in 2016? “Sa ngayon, wala talaga akong balak. Ano bang gusto nyo, tumanda agad ako?”

She congratulated Marian for her dance show. “Naku, e kayo po ang isa sa inspirasyon ko kaya nabuo ito,” says Marian. “Talagang pinapanood ko noon yung dance numbers nyo noon sa ‘VIP’ at sa ‘Vilma’. Kayo rin ni Sen. Ralph Recto ang role model namin kasi after 28 years, going strong pa rin kayo.”

“So kukunin nyo akong ninang sa kasal nyo?” says Ate Vi.

“Sigurado po!” says Marian.

How about Ate Vi? Is she ready to accept Angel Locsin as her daughter in law? “Naku, hindi naman bago si Angel sa amin, bumalik lang siya. Matatanda na sila ni Luis kaya okay na. Bago sila mahuli sa biyahe.”
