JEAN GARCIA is so thankful that GMA-7 is giving her one show after another. Since she became a Kapuso in 2006, she has had a total of 22 shows. Her soaps are “Majika”, “Atlantika”, “Impostora”, “La Vendetta”, “Dyesebel”, “Gagambino”, “All About Eve”, “Dear Friend”, “Stairway to Heaven”, “Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita”, “Ilumina”, “Alakdana”, “Time of My Life”, “Spooky Nights”, “Alice Bungisngis”, “One True Love”, “Kakambal ni Eliana”, “Adarna” and now, “The Half Sisters”. She was also given a chance to be a host in “Para Sa’Yo ang Laban Na ‘To”, “Personalan” and “Love Hotline”.
“Kaya naman talagang happy ako sa GMA at laging nagpapasalamat,” she says. “Kasi talagang hindi ako nababakante at kung minsan, nakaka-three to four shows ako in one year.”
How come she didn’t use her influence to ask GMA bosses to renew the contract of her daughter Jennica?
She has a long way to go. It will give her the opportunity to work with other networks. Ganundin naman ako noon, sinubukan ko lahat before as a freelancer. I even worked sa Japan.
In “The Half Sisters”, she has two leading men who are both younger than her: Jomari Yllana and Ryan Eigenmann. “And take note, pinagnanasaan at pinag-aagawan nila kong dalawa.
