VALERIE CONCEPCION looks so sexy at the presscon of “My BFF”, where she plays Lavender, a rich girl who snatches Janno Gibbs away from Manilyn Reynes. “It’s another contravida role like in my last soap, ‘Anna Karenina’,” she says. “Pero iba naman ang atake ko this time kasi sa ‘Anna’, very dark at sobrang sama ng character ko. Dito mas light ang role, at dahil si Lavender ako, laging violet o purple ang suot ko, pati lipstick ko. Magastos.”

She reports that she’s back in school taking up marketing at AMA. She confesses that it’s her boyfriend, a medical student, who encouraged her to go back to college. We thought she’s still with cager Dondon Hontiveros.

“Two years na kaming wala. Ayoko ngang mag-commit uli after that. But this guy, very patient siya. He really stuck with me, and my daughter, Fiona, likes him also. Bale four months pa lang kami and let’s see how things will go. He’ll soon take the board exam so nagre-review siya. At ako naman, busy taping ‘My BFF’.
