Andrea Torres Goes Daring As A Sexy Aswang In 'Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra'

ANDREA TORRES has played lead roles before in such soaps as “Sana ay Ikaw na Nga” and “With a Smile” but her role in her newest project, “Ang Lihim ni Annasandra”, is something she finds truly challenging as she’ll play the role of an ‘aswang’. “It’s also the first time I’ll go sexy kasi may scenes daw na kailangang ipakitang nakahubad ako when I transform from human to aswang,” she says. “I had to ask my parents’ permission first kasi conservative sila. Kabado sila noong una, kasi sexy nga. E, dati puro wholesome ang ginagawa ko. But GMA assured them na aalagaan ako and there’ll be nothing indecent, so ngayon excited na sila.”

How did she prepare for the role? “Physically, I have to exercise to make sure I’m in the right shape. Also, may sensuality workshop ako with my leading men, Mikael Daez and Pancho Magno, kasi may love scenes daw. So kailangan maganda ang bonding namin.”

How did she feel when she came out number 48 in FHM’s list of Sexiest Women? “I was so surprised, and also flattered, kasi matagal na nila ko ini-invite to do a sexy pictorial for them pero lagi ako tumatanggi. Pero kahit hindi pa ko lumabas sa magazine, may mga bumoto sa’kin at nag-number 48 pa ko. So, salamat sa lahat ng mga bumoto.”

Would she now consider doing a pictorial for them? “At this point, hindi pa ko talaga ready. Ang feeling ko, may right time para diyan. E, magpapa-sexy na ko ngayon sa TV so baka next, sa kanila naman, dahan-dahan lang.”

Everyone feels she’s perfect for FHM as she’s top heavy. Some folks even say she must have undergone a breast augmentation procedure. What’s her size? “36, but natural yan. Walang pinabago diyan. It runs in the family. Ang mother ko, ang Ate ko, mga tita ko, lahat ganyan, naturally gifted.”

She’s happy to be reunited with Mikael in “Annasandra”. “Okay lang to do daring scenes with him kasi comfortable na ko sa kanya. Nagkasama kami sa ‘Sana’ and ‘With a Smile’ before at magkasama rin kami ngayon sa ‘Bubble Gang’. Magaling din ang co-stars namin, Rochelle Pangilinan as my relative who transfers the aswang powers to me as a child, Glydel Mercado and Emilio Garcia as my parents, Maria Isabel Lopez, Erika Padilla, Joseph Bitangcol in his first GMA show, Arthur Solinap and former beauty queen Joyce Burton, directed by Albert Langitan.”
