CARLA ABELLANA and her co-stars in “My Destiny” are jubilant because their show is rating very well. AGB Nielsen rating show that the pilot episode of “My Destiny” registered a rating of 22.7% in Mega Manila, which is very impressive. The only show that got a higher rating was GMA-7's primetime series “Niño”, which is the topnotcher at 23.3%, defeating the shows of their rival station.
We’re happy for their director, Joyce Bernal, who said at the presscon she didn’t really care for ratings. At least, she now has a toprating show compared to the last one which she directed, “Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw”, that was quickly scrapped because it’s a non-rater.
