IS CRISTINE REYES merely joking when she said that “Trophy Wife” might be her last sexy film? Does her Persian boyfriend have something to do with this? “No, hindi siya ang dahilan. Hindi pa naman officially kami, so hindi siya. Naisip ko lang, ten years na ako sa showbiz. 18 pa lang ako when I first posed for FHM at sexy na agad ang image ko. Ilang years ko na siyang ginagawa. So, for me, may mga bagay na dapat kang itigil na and try a new chapter in your life and career. Because of my sexy image, parang masyado nang everywhere I go, I get too much attention from the boys. Nahihirapan na kasi ako, e,” and she laughs. “So enough na. It’s time I graduate sa sexy image bago pa ma-bore ang mga tao. Gusto ko namang ipakita I can be a serious drama actress. I’m so happy that in my next Viva movie, ‘The Gifted’, magko-comedy naman ako. Sexy pa rin, pero nagpapatawa naman. Kasama ko naman dito sina Anne Curtis and Sam Milby.”
Her “Trophy Wife” co-stars, Derek Ramsay, Heart Evangelista and John Estrada, all say that she did a very impressive job as John’s wife who still tries her best to snatch Derek away from Heart. “Thank you. Maganda naman talaga yung role ko, may pagka-psychotic na babae, and I gave it my all. Dito, marami pa kong sexy scenes, like yung love scene namin ni Derek sa bathtub. Daring talaga kaya abangan nila at baka last ko ng gawin yun.”
