Heart Evangelista On The Prospect Of Being A Future First Lady

HEART EVANGELISTA wants to clarify that she didn’t go daring in “Trophy Wife”. “My body is only for Sen. Chiz (Escudero) kaya hindi totoo yung mga sinasabing lumaban ako ng sabayan kay Cristine Reyes sa pagpapa-sexy,” she says. “Originally, it was supposed to be daring for me, but hindi siya umabot sa ganun. It’s really Cristine. She did everything. This is my first movie with Viva Films, so, I accepted the project. Pero kung yung role ni Cristine ang binigay sa’kin, hindi ko talaga kayang gawin. I’m very liberated with my personal life. I’ve been very open about my ex-boyfriends or whoever I dated. But when it comes to certain things, there’s a certain limit that I cannot cross. Si Cristine, she did a really good job. Ibang klase siya talaga. She does anuman ang ipagawa sa kanya.”

What does being a“Trophy Wife” mean to her? “Actually, a trophy wife is a prized catch, somebody that you’d put on a pedestal. A beautiful wife. But it’s not something that I’d really wanna be. I just want to be a normal wife.”

So she wouldn’t want to be a mere “Trophy Wife” to Sen. Chiz? “Definitely no. We’ve been very open about our relationship, and we’re very honest to each other, we plan things out. But no wedding plans yet. Una sa lahat, kailangan, mag-propose muna siya.”

It’s said Sen. Chiz will run for president. So she might be a future first lady? “Hindi ko iniisip yun. It’s really not my business to talk about that. He really doesn’t talk about these things kasi, if he is running or not, but you know, I’ll support him in whatever he’ll do.”

Will they have a pre-nuptial agreement? “Parang ayoko namang pag-usapan na ’yan. It’s so gross naman to talk about the pre-nup. Money matters are the worst things to

talk about.”

How’s her relationship with her parents now? “I’m better with my dad. My mom, we haven’t really talked. I think it still needs a bit more time to heal things.”
