Heart Evangelista Waiting For Sen. Chiz Escudero's Proposal This Year

HEART EVANGELISTA is now a Kapuso but she returned to ABS-CBN to promote her new Viva movie, “Trophy Wife” in KrisTV. She made some curious revelations on the show. Talking about moving on after a breakup, she confessed that Daniel Matsunaga is her only ex-BF that she remains to be friends with. Which means the likes of John Prats, Jericho Rosales and two non-showbiz BFs surnamed Delgado and Dy are not on friendly terms with her.

She says Daniel, who was also linked to Kris when he used to appear in “Kris TV” and who’s now a housemate in PBB, is “Super bait. He’s such a good guy.” When they were on, she was 27 and Daniel was only 23. They were on for only 7 months. She’ll turn 30 on February 14 (she and Kris have the same birthday) and Heart admits she’s ready to settle down. But current BF Sen. Chiz has yet to propose to her. “He says he’ll propose this year, so let’s see.”

How does she feel that Cristine Reyes is said to play the more important role than her in “Trophy Wife”? “Okay lang, because yung mga ginawa niya ritong pagpapa-sexy, I must admit hindi ko naman magagawa. Sobrang galing ni Cristine dito, so sobrang bilib ako sa kanya. Talagang with conviction niya ginagawa ang kanyang mga eksena. They say she upstages me but okay lang kasi, ako, hindi ko talaga kaya ang ginagawa niya."

In the end of the film’s trailer, it’s revealed that she and Cristine are actually partners in crime in the story. What’s their secret? "The movie is all about love and revenge. She has this plan to destroy the life of Derek Ramsay, kahit married na siya to his brother, John Estrada. Then she tries to use me in her plot to take revenge on him. But in the process, I fall in love with Derek and that becomes a major source of conflict. Movie talaga ito ni Cristine and it was okay for me because my role is also very important sa twist which changes the whole story."
