Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri to mentor kids on Kids cook-off

Probably the best kids culinary competition returns on August 17th when Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri will be mentoring eight kids in the second season of Food Network's Kids cook-off. Premiering at 8pm ET/PT, the show is sure to bring lots of fun to the viewers, showing off the contestants skills, both culinary as well as on-camera.

The six-episode season will be offering something for everyone, challenge to make a "family favorite" meal, blindfolded ingredients deciphering, tasting retro dishes that their parents were fed when they were children, making dishes of their most hated ingredients and much more.

The kidtestants will be competing in two teams, Team Rachael and Team Guy, for the admiration from their parents and most importantly, their very own series on Foodnetwork.com.

“I’m stoked to be back in the kitchen cooking with a great group of kids for the second season of Rachael vs. Guy: Kids Cook-Off,” said the best-selling cookbook author Guy Fieri. “There’s nothing I love more than working with these awesome kids to help develop their culinary chops. And of course, Rachael and I love a good rivalry!”

Kids cook-off will be featuring a number of incredible guest judges such as Melissa d'Arabian, G. Garvin, Alex Guarnaschelli, Robert Irvine, Jeff Mauro, among others.
