After Heart-Chiz, Who'S Next: Lovi-Rocco, Sid-Alessandra, Luis-Angel, Zanjoe-Bea, Anne-Erwan Or John Lloyd-Angelica?

IT WAS HER friends Lovi Poe and Alessandra de Rossi (they became very close while doing “Legacy”) who first reported on social media that Heart Evangelista is now officially engaged to her beau of two years, Sen. Chiz Escudero. They were in Sorsogon and Chiz made the proposal in public last Saturday night while they’re in the Escuderos’ ancestral home, also kneeling in front of Heart like what Dingdong Dantes did when he proposed to Marian Rivera.

Heart was absent from her hosting chores in “Startalk” and “Sunday All Stars” because of this Sorsogon trip, without knowing her friends are all booked in a hotel in Sorsogon as they’ve previously be informed by Sen. Chiz about his planned proposal. Even his parents were there to witness the event. Heart has always been very open in saying she’s ready to get married and she’s just waiting for Chiz’ proposal. Now, her wish is granted.

They haven’t mentioned any details about the wedding but we heard it might be held on Valentine’s Day 2015, which is Heart 30th birthday, at Balesin Island, a favorite place of the couple. Sen. Chiz is 14 years older than her and this is his second marriage as he has been previously marriage to theatre actress Christine Flores, with whom he has twins, a boy and a girl. Christine is now in a relationship with a dancer from Manouevres. The big question, of course, is: Will Mrs. Cecille Ongpauco, the mother of Heart who’s not on speaking terms with her, attend their wedding?

After the proposal of Sen. Chiz was posted on social media, bashers quickly had a field day saying that Heart is really just “gaya-gaya” to Marian. It will be recalled that the two Kapuso stars have not seen each other eye-to-eye for a long time now. But Heart chooses to ignore the negative remarks and what’s important for her now is to dwell on her happy moments with Sen. Chiz.

Heart and Sen. Chiz are the fourth showbiz couple to be engaged this year. First was TV host Bianca Gonzales and cager JC Intal who’ll tie the knot in December, then Joross Gamboa and non showbiz GF Katz Saga, who’ll exchange I do’s in November. Then Dingdong and Marian. Because of this, folks are now urging Rocco Nacino to also propose to Lovi Poe, especially after Rocco posted this message on his own social media account: “It was my first time to witness a marriage proposal. Everyone had butterflies in their stomachs. Happy to be part of this priceless moment last night.”

Now also being pressured to propose to their respective sweethearts are Sid Lucero to Alex de Rossi, Erwan Heussaff to Anne Curtis, Luis Manzano to Angel Locsin, John Lloyd Cruz to Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo to Bea Alonzo.
