Bianca Umali's Life Growing Up An Orphan Perfect For 'Magpakailanman'

BIANCA UMALI’s real life story is perfect for “Magpakailanman”. Orphaned at an early age, her parents died when she was still a little child and she grew up under the care of her Lola. Would she agree to have her life featured in “Magpakailanman”? “Okay lang naman po,” she says. “Tiyak maiiyak ang mga tao.”

Did growing up an orphan make her a stronger person?”Hindi ko po masasabi na mas naging matapang ako, but I know for myself I can handle things now on my own, without depending on anyone. Anytime, anything can happen so I prepared myself to be independent.”

Would she say she’s more mature than other teeners who are 14? “Siguro po. But even though ang dami ko na pong napagdaanan at ganun na ang maturity level ko, I feel I’m still growing.”

Is there any drawback from growing up an orphan? “Siguro yung very sensitive po akong tao. Yung mga panlalait from other people or I did something na I was misunderstood, madali po akong maapektuhan. Kailangan ko umiyak at ilabas ang bigat na nararamdaman ko. But since artista ako, nagagamit ko ito sa work lalo na kapag heavy dramatic scenes. Maraming pinaghuhugutan.”

As Gracie in ‘Nino’, Bianca’s dad, Jestoni Alarcon as Henry, returns and offers to send her to school but her mom Stephanie Sol as Olivia rejects this. Bianca is sad and tells Miguel Tanfelix that she cannot go to school due to lack of funds. This melts Olivia’s heart and she agrees to reconcile with Jestoni. As for Rafa Siguion Reyna, he finally gets the chance to tell Gloria Romero as Lola V that Nino is actually the missing son of Katrina Halili as Hannah.
