Boy Abunda Released From Hospital After Liver Infection, Now Resting At Home

BOY ABUNDA is one of the nicest guys we’ve met in showbiz. We were together once in a junket to Hollywood to interview Cameron Diaz and he’s fun to be wtih. We’re glad to know that he is finally out of St. Luke’s Medical Center and is now recuperating at home from his liver infection.

While he was in the hospital, Boy refused to be visited by any of his friends as doctors said people coming from the outside might bring in germs that might infect him further and make his recovery more difficult. His fans need not worry because Boy will be back in his two shows with Kris Aquino soon. One positive effect of his stay in the hospital is that he’s much slimmer now after losing unwanted pounds. But what a way to lose weight, isn’t it? Here’s wishing Boy much better health from now on.
