Carla Abellana No Show At 'somebody To Love' Presscon Where Mother Lily Had A Shouting Match With A Reporter

CARLA ABELLANA is wanted at the grand presscon of “Somebody to Love” which was preceded by an intense shouting match between Mother Lily Monteverde and Alfie Lorenzo. Everyone got tense because Mother Lily became so angry because Alfie maligned the movie's director, Joey Reyes. To think Mother Lily's is celebrating her birthday with several cakes from the guest writers. It only ended when security personnel of Imperial Hotel came and took Alfie away. But Carla was a no-show even if the press wanted to ask her about her current tiff with ex-BF Geoff Eigenmann and his manager, Perry Lansigan.

Carla was asked in her solo presscon last week if she has forgiven Geoff, her reply was reportedly “Kung si God nga, kayang mag-forgive ng kahit sinong demonyo, ‘di ba? Sino ba tayo para mag-hold ng grudges? Sino ba tayo para hindi magpatawad?”

Perry didn’t take this sitting down and answered her in social media, reprimanding her for comparing Geoff to a devil. He even posted several pics of Geoff on Facebook looking at his best and called him a “Handsome Devil”. Roselle Monteverde said Carla begged off from the presscon because she’s having high fever and suffering from cough and colds.

When we interviewed Carla at her solo presscon, the issue then was why did she get topbilling in “Somebody to Love”? “Decision daw ng Regal yun kasi contract star nila ako and I really appreciate it,” she said then. “I’m really just happy to be part of this movie kasi it gave me the chance to work with Kapamilya stars like Matteo Guidicelli, Iza Calzado and Jason Abalos. Jason is my best friend here, pero hindi niya ako nililigawan. Si Matteo is a real estate magnate na may regular bedmate, Isabelle Daza. But when I did a project with him sa aming ad agency, he became interested in me. When Jason learns about this, biglang na-insecure siya and also showed interest in me. Iza naman is a top TV host here na best friend ni Isabelle. Marami pang ibang characters and all our stories intertwine but beautifully woven together by Director Joey Reyes.”
