Cris is really more active as a theatre actress. This year alone, she’s been seen in “Closer”, “Mga Ama, Mga Anak” and “Ghost, The Musical”. Now, she’s not only making movies but is also appearing in her first teleserye, GMA-7’s coming telefantasya, “Ang Lihim ni Annasandra”.
“Yes, I really want to try television,” she says. “I’ve appeared in ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’, but this is my first soap so I’m really excited. I’ll be kontrabida to Andrea Torres who plays Annasandra. I’m a very rich girl who’s seducing Mikael Daez away from Andrea so viewers will surely hate me.”
She’s happy to work with her Uncle Carlitos in “Hari ng Tondo”. “When I read the script of Tita Bibeth, I said, parang ako ito. It’s about a woman na hindi natuloy ang wedding, which was what just happened to me in real life. It hurt but I was able to recover fast. He’s not worth my tears, kasi it’s just a whirlwind courtship. Now, I’m with someone who’s much better.”
