Derek Ramsay's Lawyer, Atty. Joji Alonso, Says His Ex-Wife Just Wants To Blackmail Him

DEREK RAMSAY is currently seen in two new movies that are simultaneously being shown. He plays a womanizer who breaks the heart of Cristine Reyes so she’s out to take revenge on him in “Trophy Wife”. In “The Janitor”, an entry in the ongoing Cinemalaya, he plays an anti-hero role as a bank robber who gets his comeuppance from Dennis Trillo. Off cam, the latest news about Derek is that he’s been sued by his estranged wife named Mary Christine Jolly for allegedly abandoning them. Derek’s lawyer, Atty. Joji Alonso, sent a statement about this issue: “To everyone: I am certain you must have heard by now about the criminal case filed against Derek for alleged failure to support a certain Mary and her son. Please do not believe everything you’ve read. I have been on board this concern since some three yrs ago.

Mary has been blackmailing Derek to give her P40 M. She wants to make an ATM machine out of him. Their relationship lasted 9 months, 12 yrs ago. She is in a relationship herself with a Swiss national. She has been harassing Derek with texts, emails, tweets, etc. I have gathered substantial evidence like lewd pictures, flight details in and out of the country, emails, texts, the works.
