KC Concepcion Thanks Judy Ann Santos For Being A Sincere Friend To Her Mom Sharon Cuneta

JUDY ANN SANTOS acts as a counsellor to the 9 couples participating in “I Do”. She admits she also acted as an adviser to Sharon Cuneta when the Megastar underwent midlife crisis. “We treated each other as real sisters since we did the movie ‘Magkapatid’ in 2002,” she says. “She’s okay now, coping well with the challenges and trying to work things out. I told her hindi naman siya makakalimutan ng tao kahit kailan. She has given so much to the industry and she’ll never be forgotten. Let’s face the challenges together, don’t shut yourself out of the world. Umiyak ka na, okay na ’yan. Time to act and enjoy life. Ang hinihingi niya lang ngayon sa mga tao is understanding and prayers that she will overcome the struggles that she’s experiencing. She has lost weight na and is dieting. Niyayaya namin siya ni Ryan (Agoncillo) to join us swimming, which is a good exercise at nakaka-relieve pa ng stress.”

KC Concepcion has expressed her gratitude to her Ate Juday for being there for her mom. “My mom’s open letter is her way of reaching out to her fans and I’m glad and also thankful that Ate Juday for her sincere friendship. She’s really a part of our family.”

Juday is also learning about giving advice from real life counsellors she has in “I Do”: Pia Acevedo and Dr. Julian Montano. Pia is a certified life coach and member of the international Coaching Federation with expertise in Family Life Relationships and Personal Life Transitions. She’s a Philosophy graduate from the Ateneo and took Family Ministries, Coaching and Mentoring here and abroad.

Dr. Julian Montano is a licensed Counseling Psychologist and has a Masters degree in Social Counseling and Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, New York and PhD in Counseling Psychology from La Salle. We ask Dr. Montano how Juday is doing as a counsellor.

“Experience makes us all wise and Juday is very encouraging to the couple participants,” he says. “Her advice is very integral in telling them na kaya ninyo ito. She has a gift in making a connection with the couples.”
