Robin Padilla And Mariel Rodriguez Give A New Twist To TV5's 'Talentadong Pinoy'

ROBIN PADILLA and wife Mariel Rodriguez are very happy to be working together as the new hosts of “Talentadong Pinoy” on TV5. Some writers call them the Talentadong Couple and they’re both very pleased. Will the show rate even more now that they’re the hosts?

“Sana.

Are they aware that it was offered again to Ryan Agoncillo and other names cropped up before it was offered to them?

When TV5 Entertainment Head Wilma Galvante asked Robin if he’d interested to host the show, he asked them to give him videos of past episodes.

Ms. Wilma said that it was TV5 Pres. Noel Lorenzana who suggested to include Mariel as co-host to give the show a fresh feel. What kind of hosts will they be? “What we really want to happen is for the contestants to shine kasi sila naman ang ‘Talentadong Pinoy’, di ba?” says Mariel. Sila ang dapat na mas umangat dito. At yun ang sinasabi ni Robin na challenge for us kaya even before the show starts, gusto niya, makilala muna naming mabuti ang mga contestant, pati mga pamilya nila. I can say na Robin is a very sincere host at yun ang makikita nyo sa kanya rito.”

I can save one contestant sa bawat episode, like sa pilot episode.

Robin is still under contract with ABS-CBN, but he asked permission to appear on TV5 and it was granted. “Talentadong Pinoy” will be back on air this Saturday at 7PM, with Alice Dixson, Jasmine Curtis Smith and John Lapus as the initial jurors, directed by Monti Parungao. They’ll be advancing some episodes as Robin will also be busy shooting his Metro filmfest entry, “Bonifacio”, starting next month.
