Tuesday Vargas Undergoing Fertility Treatment To Have Another Child

TUESDAY VARGAS couldn’t believe it when she was told that she’ll be one of the three hosts of the new season of “Talentadong Pinoy”, along with Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez. “It’s flattering kasi dati, one of the judges ako, now, host na rin,” she says. “Yes agad ako when they offered it to me dahil talagang malapit sa puso ko ang ‘Talentadong Pinoy’. The contestants usually inspire me sa passion nilang ilabas ang talent nila, kaya special gift sa’kin na mapasama uli rito as host.”

She got married to musician Coy Placido in Boracay two years ago. How is married life so far? “We’re good. Coy and I have our own band, Top Junk. He’s the guitarist, I’m the vocalist and keyboardist. Nakapuwesto kami ngayon sa Back to the 90s sa Morato Ave. and Route 196 sa Katipunan Ave. We’re trying to have our own baby. My son from a previous relationship will soon be 13 years old at pag ganoong masyadong malaki ang gap, ang hirap palang sundan. I’m now 33 so I’m taking some pills to jumpstart my fertility tapos, sinasamahan ko ng maraming dasal.”

How is it working with Robin and Mariel in “Talentadong Pinoy”? “I’ve worked with Robin in ‘Totoy Bato’ sa GMA-7 and with Mariel sa ABS before. Ngayon, magkakasama kami sa TV5 at pareho silang dedicated sa work nila. Sila ang main host. I’m the one who interviews the contestants and their relatives backstage, also the audience. Sa pilot show namin, five contestants will compete at yung isa doon, muntik nang ma-out agad but Robin defended her kaya na-save. Very compassionate si Robin sa contestants.”


The new season of “Talentadong Pinoy” starts tonight at 7 PM.
