Valerie Concepcion Villain Role As Lavender Has Strong Impact On Viewers

VALERIE CONCEPCION plays a character named Lavender in GMA-7’s hit 6 PM show, “My BFF”, and she was surprised when some people saw her in public and called her “Lavender”. “It only means malakas ang impact ng show kaya natatandaan nila ang name ko roon,” she says. “And to think super contravida ang role ko na inaagaw si Janno Gibbs from his wife Manilyn Reynes. So far, wala pa namang nagagalit sa’kin dahil doon. I think viewers now realize that I’m just playing a role.”

In one scene, she tries to seduce Janno as Christian but the ghost of Jillian Ward appears as Chelsea and scares her so she ends up running away in fright. She’s not the only one who appears as villain in “My BFF” but also Leandro Baldemor as Patrick, Manilyn’s friend who is in love with her. This week, Janno as Christian sees Manilyn as Lyn hugging Leandro and he gets terribly jealous. Janno confronts Leandro and they end up in a fistfight, but Manilyn intervenes and stops them.
