AFTER THE MORNING soap “With a Smile”, Christian Bautista is glad to be part of the new primetime serial, “Strawberry Lane” that starts airing tomorrow after “24 Oras”. “I will play the role of Richard, younger brother of Sheryl Cruz and Sunshine Dizon, with Boots Anson Roa as our mother,” he says. “I welcome the challenge of acting with them dahil puro sila magagaling. They’ll inspire me to give my best in every scene. Maganda rin ang role ko kasi I’ll start as a bad boy, but eventually, babait ako and I will try to reconcile my feuding sisters. I also do charity work here singing for the inmates of Bahay Bagong Pangarap to inspire them.”
Aside from this, Christian is also in “Sunday All Stars” and he is now the new co-host of Marian Rivera in the second season her dance musical show on Saturday nights, “Marian”. Because he’s so busy, he has no time to cultivate a lovelife. “I’m 32, puede na ko mag-start ng sarili kong family,” he says. “But sad to say, zero ang lovelife ko kasi sobrang busy ako and may concerts pa ko here and abroad. But if ever na matagpuan ko na ang babaeng sa palagay ko will be the best partner for me and the best mom of my future kids, I won’t have any second thoughts na pakasalan siya.”
