Is Lovi Poe Avoiding Writers At 'Dalawang Mrs. Real' Final Presscon? BF Rocco Nacino Answers For Her

LOVI POE was a no show at the final presscon of GMA-7’s hit show, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real”, and some writers suspected it’s because she’s hiding from the press who’ll grill her about Director Erik Matti’s attack against her. The truth is Lovi cannot attend as it’s the first shooting day of her Metro-Manila filmfest entry, “Shake Rattle & Roll 15” where she appears in the “Flight 666” episode with Matteo Guidicelli, directed by Perci Intalan.

For a while, Mother Lily Monteverde was rattled when she learned Lovi won’t do a movie. She thought it’s “SRR 15”, so it was explained to her that it’s “Kubot, Aswang Chronicles 2” which Lovi refused to do. Matti has already found a replacement for Lovi in Binibining Pilipinas candidate Hanna Mariz de la Guerra.

Since Lovi can’t be interviewed, it’s her boyfriend Rocco Nacino who as asked by the press at the presscon of his new GMA show, “Hiram na Alaala”, about her tiff with Matti.

“I’m not in a position to speak for Lovi but, personally, I was hurt and upset din sa mga nangyari,” he says. “Pareho naming nabasa yung sinulat ng director sa Facebook. Hindi naman dapat ganu’n ang pag-atake sa problema. Puede naman to talk about problems without resorting to social media. Sana idinaan muna sa pribadong usapan. I told Lovi I’ll always be here for her at sana mag-usap sila ng manager niya on how best to handle it. Mag-usap sila ng sila-sila lang, closed door, para mas maganda. We all know it’s just a misunderstanding kasi Lovi’s not like that. Even cameo roles nga sa indie movies, ginagawa niya nang hindi pinag-uusapan ang pera. A lot of people know the real her, she’s very professional at hindi siya mukhang pera.”

About his own career, Rocco is happy to be acting with an acclaimed actor like Denis Trillo in “Hiram na Alaala”, where he plays a PMA soldier. “It’s my first time to do this kind of role, so excited talaga ako. I have to change my looks at yung mga kilos ko to be credible in the part. Also, alam naman natin kung gaano kagaling si Dennis sa pag-arte kaya dapat galingan ko lagi para hindi niya ako maiwanan. Reunion namin ito ni Kris Bernal after ‘Koreana’ and first time ko namang makasama si Lauren Young. With Direk Dominic Zapata directing us, we’re all confident that ‘Hiram na Alaala’ is one great show that viewers will find worthwatching.”

“Hiram na Alaala” starts airing on September 22 after “24 Oras”. After “Hustisya” with Nora Aunor, Rocco will next be seen on the big screen as Prinsipe Sigasig in “Ibong Adarna” that opens in theatres on October 1.
