Jessa Zaragoza's Music Video In ABS-CBN's 'Himig Handog' Song Writing Contest Is The Best Among The Finalists

FROM OVER 6,000 entries, ABS-CBN has chosen the 15 finalists (all love songs and all of them very good) of the 2014 edition of Himig Handog: "Akin Ka Na Lang" - by Francis Louis Salazar of Quezon City, interpreted by Morisette Amon.

"Bumabalik ang Nagdaan" by Sarah Jane Gandia of California, interpreted by Jessa Zaragoza who looks so beautiful in its music video that features her alone and no one else. For us, it's the simplest but the best among the MTV's shown to the press.

"Dito" by Raizo Chabeldin and Biv de Vera of Metro Manila, interpreted by Jovit Baldivino.
"Everything Takes Time" by Hazel dela Cruz of Manila, interpreted by the composer herself.
"Halik sa Hangin" by David Dimaguila of Cainta, interpreted by Ebe Dancel and Abra.
"Hanggan Kailan" by Jose Joel Mendoza of Mandaluyong, interpreted by Angeline Quinto.
"If You Don't Want to Fall" by Jude Gitamondoc of Cebu, interpreted by Jed Madela.
"Mahal Kita Pero" by Melchora Mabilog of Laguna, interpreted by Janella Salvador.
"Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako" by Edwin Marollano, Muntinlupa, interpreted by KZ Tandingan.
"Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako" – by Jovinor Tan of Quezon City, interpreted by Michael Pangilinan.
"Pumapag-ibig" by Jungee Marcelo of Pasig, interpreted by Marion Aunor.
"Hindi Wala" by Nica del Rosario, interpreted by Juris.
"Simpleng Tulad Mo" by Meljohn Magno of Laguna, interpreted by Daniel Padilla.
"Umiiyak ang Puso" by Rolando Azar of San Juan, interpreted by Bugoy Drilon.
"Walang Basagan ng Trip" by Eric de Leon of Malabon, interpreted by Jugs and Teddy.

Since it was launched in 2000, Himig Handog has spawned several hits, including Parokya Ni Edgar's "This Guy's In Love With You Pare," Kyla and Kaya's "Tara Tena" and last year's winner, "Anong Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa," as interpreted by Aiza Seguerra. You can win P50,000 by simply voting for your favorite interpreter at ABS-CBN.com Online Choice for Favorite Interpreter.

Only 1 vote per valid email address per interpreter per day will be accepted. Voting cut-off is 12 noon on September 28, 2014, also the finals night that will be held at the Big Dome. The winner of the award will be determined by a score comprised of 70% votes and 30% judges points.
