Rap, The Eldest Son Of Lorna T And Rudy Fernandez, Looks Like Fidel Castro & Che Guevarra In 'Hiram Na Alaala'

RAP FERNANDEZ is the eldest son of Lorna Tolentino and the late Rudy Fernandez. He knows his parents are tough acts to follow but he has also ventured into acting. He plays the role of a rebel leader in “Hiram na Alaala” that starts airing on Monday to replace “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real”. To be credible in his role, he grew a full beard and looks like Fidel Castro or Che Guevarra. “Sila talaga ang peg ko,” he says. “I’m happy to be part of ‘Hiram na Alaala’. Kami ang makakabihag sa mga sundalong sina Dennis Trillo at Rocco Nacino. Ang father and elder brother ni Dennis were also killed by rebels and he doesn’t know na ang nakapatay sa kanila was my own father. I’m happy to be a part of a big project like this. Ganadong-ganado nga ako kapag may shooting kami. Mukhang magtatagal ang role ko kasi ako ang magpapatakas dito kina Dennis at Rocco nang mabihag sila n gaming grupo.”

Rap is the father of a little girl, Tori, named after his mom whose real name is Victoria. She’s turning 3 years old in November and she’s the apple of her Lola Lorna’s eye. The girl stays with her mom who’s a pre-school teacher and studies in the same school where her mom teaches. We ask Rap how is his mom doing after the accident where she hurt her spine. “Naka-brace pa rin siya. She can work naman at nagte-taping siya for ‘My Destiny’. Kaya lang, hindi siya puedeng nakatayo nang matagal kaya most of her scenes, nakaupo lang siya.”
