Tina Paner On Why The Planned Reunion Concert With Manilyn Reynes And Sheryl Cruz Didn't Push Through

TINA PANER plays villain to Ara Mina in “Trenderas”. “Galit ako sa kanya kasi may ang anak pala niya, ang mister kong si Dingdong Avanzado ang ama,” she says. “Ako, may anak rin but ninakaw from us noong baby pa. She is raised by Rez Cortez and becomes Isabelle de Leon.”

Tina married a Spanish national and stayed for a long time in Barcelona but she’s now back in Manila for good, with her daughter, Shayne, now 11 years old. Does she have regular communication with her ex-husband? “Sila ng daughter namin, meron. But us, we talk only for the sake of our daughter.”

What happened to the reunion concert of their Triplets team with Manilyn Reynes and Sheryl Cruz? “I don’t know. It’s my mom (Daisy Romualdez) and Mane’s husband (Aljon Jimenez) who talked at hindi yata puede si Mane kasi marami siyang TV shows. Siguro hindi pa lang talaga takda na magkasama kami uling tatlo. But kami ni Sheryl, nagkasama kami sa ‘Strawberry Lane’ ng GMA-7. May guest role ako roon. Ako yung asawa ni Raymond Bagatsing na laging nakukunan kaya ninakaw ko yung anak ni Sunshine Dizon na magiging si Joyce Ching paglaki. Mababaliw ang character ko rito.”
