Will Richard Gutierrez Officially Propose To Sarah Lahbati In 'It Takes Gutz To Be A Gutierrez, Season 2'?

RICHARD GUTIERREZ, Sarah Lahbati and their son Zion were a picture of a very handsome family at the launch of “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez, Season 2”. After being an “extra” in the 1st season, Sarah is now billed as part of the main cast. So how is it being a member of the Gutierrez Family? Was there an element of shock when she first joined them?

“Marami,” she says with a laugh. “But it’s always fun being around them. Going on adventures with them. Pero definitely, at the start, medyo shocking kasi only child lang ako, tapos napasama ako sa isang big family of ten members. Nanibago ako,but I enjoyed it, kasi colorful ang buhay nila. Minsan, it can be negative but in a good way. In a fun way. It’s fun kasi mag-isa nga akong anak ng parents ko. I am always happy and have fun when I am with them.”

Did she get hurt when some bashers questioned her being a part of the Gutierrezes when she’s not yet officially married to Richard? “No! Basta I’m happy with Zion. I’m happy and content with Chard. Ignore na lang ang bashers. Basta abangan nyo ang Season 2 dahil mas malaki rin ang participation ni Zion. Sa Season 1, hindi pa siya naglalakad at di masyadong kumikibo. Now, he only not walks but makulit na. He can be a real scene-stealer.”

It’s good to see Richard looking slim and handsome like his “Mulawin” days. “I gained a lot of weight talaga last year but through hard work, I was able to shed them off.”

So what’s his plan now? “May offers for new projects but I’m not at liberty to talk about them yet kasi puro negotiations pa lang. As of now, I’m just focusing on ‘It Takes Gutz’ kasi co-producer ako nito. Hands on kami in attending to all its details to make sure the public will enjoy every new episode.”

Do we see him and Sarah getting married in the new season now that some of his colleagues will walk down the aisle soon, like Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera? “Sarah and I do talk about it. Pero ayaw naman naming magpa-pressure. Sina Dingdong at Marian, matagal na sila. We’re so happy for them and wish them the best. Pero kami, we like to take our sweet time about it and focus more on Baby Zion as he is growing up so fast.”

Do we seem him at least making a proposal to Sarah? “Basta may mangyayari, pero abangan nyo na lang para may suspense.”
