Andrea Torres-Mikael Daez Tandem Now Popular Even In Malaysia

ANDREA TORRES felt so glad when informed that “Sana ay Ikaw na Nga”, her very first soap opposite Mikael Daez, is now also a big hit in Malaysia. “I was surprised kasi my Twitter and Instagram accounts are full of comments from people there saying gusto nila yung love team namin ni Mikael,” she says. “They’ve heard that we have a new show, ‘Ang Lihim ni Annasandra’, and they’re asking me kung kailan ito mapapalabas doon. All of us involved in ‘Annasandra’ are so happy kasi very consistent na mataas ang rating namin sa Afternoon Prime ng GMA-7 since we started.”

How would she explain the success of her loveteam with Mikael when, off cam, she’s being linked to Sef Cadayona and he, with Megan Young? “Siguro dahil maganda ang team work namin on cam. Iba raw yung chemistry namin. But even off cam, I’m so comfortable with Mikael. I know I can trust him and tell him my secrets. Alam na namin ang gagawin ng bawat isa kahit hindi na masyadong i-rehearse ang eksena.”

This week in “Annasandra”, Andrea and Mikael as William get closer to one another when Annasandra sees William burning with fever in his office. She takes good care of him until he recovers. He takes her to the rooftop, his special hideaway and nearly kisses her but she runs away. He tells his friend (Arthur Solinap) that he’s really falling in love with her. But his mom (Joyce Ann Burton) is hellbent on destroying their relationship as she prefers Lorraine (Cris Villonco) for him.
