Ellen Adarna Pays Tribute To Hardworking Pinoys As Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl 2015

ELLEN ADARNA is the new Calendar Girl of Ginebra San Miguel for 2015. “She’s perfect as she’s the hottest and sexiest young actress in the country today,” says Ginebra San Miguel Marketing Manager Nelson Elises. “She has a strong and loyal following even on social media and we are proud to have her as our 2015 Calendar Girl. Bagay na bagay siya sa theme naming Ganado sa Buhay that pays tribute to hard working Pinoys like farmers, fishermen and construction workers who are the main consumers of our products.”

At the launch, GSM gave the Ganadong Pinoy Award with cash prizes to Alfredo Abastas, construction worker; Dick Evasco, farmer; and Moises Mesa, fisherman.

How did Ellen feel when GSM got her? “Siempre, nag-yes ako agad. I was overwhelmed. I never thought they’d get me kasi their past models are all big stars. But I really drink their products, like GSM Blue noong high school ako in Cebu, kasi affordable. Nakakatuwa rin kasi nataon ako sa 180th anniversary ng GSM. But then, big pressure kasi ang susundan ko are the likes of Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis and Solenn Heussaff. So before the pictorial, I really went on a diet and exercised.”

She has three poses: on the beach, in a construction site and amidst rice fields. “We had the shoot in a studio and it took about ten hours,” she says. ?”Of the three, I like the beach shot best kasi mahilig ako sa beach at magbikini.”

Her stylist, Liz Uy, says: “She’s really sexy, you can’t deny it.” And the photographer, BJ Pascual, says: “She’s easy to shoot and I really like her great skin.”

Ellen’s career is really on a roll. After the hit soap “Moon of Desire”, she’ll next be seen in “Pasion de Amor”. In films, she plays the rival of Assunta de Rossi in the comedy, “Beauty in a Bottle”, that opens on October 29, and she’ll soon start a new movie with Regal Entertainment, “Hototay”, about Chinese Filipinos, written and directed by Joey Reyes. About her lovelife, she admits she has a non-showbiz BF but they don’t have plans of getting married yet. “In three years siguro. Also, I want to have a baby muna before we get married.”
