People were surprised when they learned he has recorded an album. “Pero kumakanta naman talaga ako sa ASAP. At bata pa lang ako, ito na talaga ang dream ko, more than acting. Kinakanta ko noon yung songs ng Backsteet Boys at ni Josh Groban. It was Star Records album producer Roxy Santos who told me after I did my hit single now, ‘Chinito Problems’: Bakit di ka pa mag-album? So hindi ko akalain na magkakatotoo ang dream ko. Lahat, dance, upbeat songs. Ako mismo ang pumili at alam ko kung anong kakayanin ko. Hindi ako nagpapaka-Martin Nievera o Gary V. Alam ko naman ang limitations ko. When you hear my album, alam nyo agad na ako yun. Everyone can relate with the songs ‘Hanggang Dito Na Lang’, ‘Seloso’, ‘Tambalang OMG’ which is a duet with Alex Gonzaga, and ‘Isip o Puso’, which I myself composed. Isa lang ang revival, ‘Step No Step Yes’ ng VST and Company so I went to Tito Joey de Leon para magbigay pugay. Susunod kong pupuntahan sina Tito Vic Sotto and Sen. Tito Sotto.”

“She’s okay. She joined our family for mass then kumain kami and since then, my parents ask her to join us. They said, ‘Papakainin ka namin kasi ang payat-payat mo.’ I met her kasi in an event where she’s a model at payat siya talaga. Kung minsan, sinasama namin pati mom niya kasi wala na siyang dad.”
Which song from his album will he dedicate to her? "'Seloso'. Hindi naman ako seloso pero basta yung ang gusto ko for her."
What’s his next teleserye? “May hinahanda na pero for next year na. Meantime, busy muna ko promoting my album in malls and radio shows.”
