Julia Barretto Should Watch Out Now That Liza Soberano Is Paired With Enrique Gil In 'Forevermore'

THE GAP BETWEEN Julia Barretto and her dad Dennis Padilla no doubt adversely affected her budding rise to stardom. Pinoys are generally very respectful to their parents and the news that Julia wants to officially change her family name and end her ties with her dad no doubt affected the ratings of her launching show, “Mirabella”, which didn’t rate as high as expected.

Now, the latest news is that she smirked when she saw her dad at the wake of former actress Cielito Legaspi (mom of Raymart Santiago) at Heritage Memorial. This allegedly peeved Dennis who confronted her, so she cried. This led to her mom Marjorie slapping Dennis repeatedly and Gretchen Barretto’s bodyguards asking Dennis to leave the place.

For sure, this will have a negative reflection again on Julia. She should be concerned, especially now that ABS-CBN is placing their bets on her rival, Liza Soberano, who’s now paired with Enrique Gil. When she was paired with Enrique in “Mirabella”, there was an effort to pair them off even off cam. But Enrique is now understandably being linked romantically to Liza and let’s see if “Forevermore” would rate higher than “Mirabella”. Too bad because we personally like Julia. We find her very pretty and she also acts quite well. We hope Julia’s camp could still do some damage control to save her career.
