“I said, why not? Kasi pag-artista ka, kahit tahimik na buhay mo sa States, hahanap-hanapin mo rin,” she says. “So parang trial itong ‘More than Words’. Kapag nag-click kami uli ni PJ at tinanggap uli ako ng tao, di sige, ituloy natin. Kaya it all depends kung anong magiging reception ng viewers sa ‘More than Words’. May blessings naman ng mga anak ko ang pagbabalik ko rito.”
How come she and PJ never became an item off cam then? “Masyado kong guwardiyado ng father ko noon. Bawal akong ligawan. And as we all know, si PJ, si Rhea ang niligawan.”
PJ eventually had two daughters with Rhea Reyes (daughter of LVN actress Delia Razon), one of them being Carla Abellana. So how is it to be back? “I’m excited. I’m happy to be back doing something I really love, but puro ibang mukha na ang nakikita ko, so I feel like I’m starting all over again. But I’m grateful to GMA for giving me the chance to act again. After all, dito rin naman ako nagsimula noon.”
In “More than Words”, she and PJ play Rose and Emil, a couple whose relationship has turned sour after their only child died. When Elmo Magalona gets lost in an accident, they find him and take care of him. He helps them mend their broken relationship and find their way back to each other.
