LJ Reyes On The Real Score Between Ex-BF Paulo Avelino And KC Concepcion

LJ REYES looks so pretty at the presscon of “The Janitor” where she plays Dennis Trillo’s pregnant wife. One of the highlights of the movie is when she goes into labor while Dennis is far from her. She really shines in the movie, particularly in that scene where she reveals to Dennis that his dad, Dante Rivero, continues to have sex with his mom, Irma Adlawan, even if Irma is already an invalid who is in a vegetable-like state.

“It’s a short role pero markado naman and I enjoyed working with Dennis and Direk Michael Tuviera,” she says. “We’re so proud the movie won so many awards in the Cinemalaya Filmfest and Star Cinema is releasing it now commercially in several theaters so more people can see it.”

LJ says she went back to school at La Salle to continue her college education. She was majoring in economics when she joined Starstruck and focused on her showbiz career. “Sayang naman kasi. May free time naman ako kaya balik eskwela ako, kahit paisa-isang subject lang. Kaya lang, nataon naman, kasama ako sa ‘Yagit’ na tine-tape na ngayon, kaya mahirap dahil sa schedule ng tapings ko. Pero okay lang, kakayanin ko yan.”

Paulo Avelino, the dad of her love son, Aki, insists he and KC Concepcion are just friends and not lovers. What can she say about this? “Ay, hindi ko po alam. Hindi ko naman siya tinatanong tungkol sa mga ganyan. Civil lang kami and we talk about the needs of our son. Hanggang doon lang.”
