Marvin Agustin Back With ABS-CBN & Wishes Jolina Magdangal Will Be His Partner Anew

MARVIN AGUSTIN confirms that he has left TV5 and returned back to ABS-CBN to do a teleserye, “Flor de Liza”, based on an old film that starred Janice de Belen with the late Julie Vega. This will replace “Be Careful with My Heart” when it ends in November. Is it true he’ll be reunited with ka-love team Jolina Magdangal? “Maganda sana yun, throwback, di ba?” he says. “But hindi pa sure. Nag-start na ako ng taping, pero wala pa siya. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang makakasama ko kasi inaayos pa.”

From what we heard, Jolina’s contract with GMA-7 is expiring on October 31 and GMA wants to renew it so we don’t know if she could also go back to ABS like Marvin. “Flor de Liza” is being helmed by Wenn Deramas, who also directs Marvin in his new movie, “Moron 5.2 The Transformation.”

“Maganda sana kung matuloy na magkasama sila uli at maidirek ko sila dahil maganda ang story ng ‘Flor de Liza’,” says Direk Wenn. “Bagay sa tambalan nila ang teleseryeng ito.”

Wenn says Marvin has become a very good comedian. “Dito sa ‘Moron 5.2’, ang dami niyang adlibs na siya mismo ang nakakaisip at talagang nakakatawa lumabas. Lumalaban siya sa mga totoong komedyante, like John Lapus. Si Nikki Valdez ang gumaganap na misis niya rito and they’re both very funny.”
