WE ASK THE REMAINING FIVE COUPLES in ABS-CBN’s realiserye “I Do” what are the most endearing and least endearing qualities they’ve discovered in their respective partners during their stay in the “I Do” house since August, hosted by Judy Ann Santos. Chris (who’s about 20 years older than Karen but doesn’t look it): “Most endearing is her positive attitude and she wants to spread it to the world. Kaya lang, madali siyang mag-panic.” Karen: “He’s a good planner, very organized. We saw our faults inside ‘I do’ and we agreed, ayusin namin. Kaya lang, pag nagalit siya, sobra, nagiging Incredible Hulk.”
Christian (a Brit-Pinoy): “Through all the challenges we did, Chelsea made me love her more. But she doesn’t cook so well.” Chelsea: “He’s very patient, very encouraging, but kung ano ang gusto niya, ipipilit niya. He can be stubborn.”
Chad: Very supportive si Shiela. She pushes me to be an achiever, kaya lang sobra siyang madaldal.”
Sheela: “Very strong ang faith niya in God. He also cooks so well. Kaya lang, lagi siyang tahimik. Dapat basahin mo ang isip niya.”
Emil: “Mahusay mag-alaga si Honey. She reminds me kung ano dapat at hindi dapat, kaya lang, bossy siya.”
Honey (sister of Paulo Avelino): “He’s very patient, makulit din kaya lots of fun. Least endearing sa kanya, he can be sarcastic. Panay ang parinig.”
Jimmy (He’s Korean.) – “Kring is very positive. Everyone likes her. If she sets her mind on something, she’ll try to get it, never mind if there are obstacles. But she can very chimosa and talks a lot.”
Kring: “Jimmy opened up inside the village. Nag-adjust siya sa lahat, even in Tagalog. Pero ayaw niya ng mainit. Panay ang reklamo pag mainit.”
Which couple do they think would be their biggest rival in winning the prizes: a grand wedding, house and lot, P1 million and a negosyo package?
Kring and Jimmy: “We really thought ang magtatagal are Carlo and Kara kasi 11 years na sila, pero naalis agad. So yung tagal nyo being together is not a guarantee. So now, we think it’s Emily and Honey kasi emotionally and physically, compatible sila. They cooperate 100%.”
Emil and Honey: “We at first thought it’s sina Kaizer and Jaenna kasi they’re both so active and kalog, pero natanggal din. Now, we think it’s Christian and Chelsea. Kahit three months pa lang sila on, they really love each other and they enjoy doing all the challenges together.”
Chad and Sheela: “Sina Emil and Honey. They’re very mature sa approach nila sa isa’t isa. They adjust to each other. Kalma lang sila kahit nagkakagalit.”
Christian and Chelsea (They’re both Bench models.): “We think sina Chris and Karen. They’ve proven themselves to be the strongest couple. Lagi silang top sa challenges.”
Chris and Karen: “We look at ‘I Do’ no as a competiton but our own journey where we can learn. Ang mindset namin is panalo na kami. But we think it’s Chad and Sheila because they thought as to pray. Sila rin lagi ang kalaban namin sa challenges and they really know what they are doing.”
