RHIAN RAMOS turned 25 on October 3. She chose to share her blessings it at the Graces Home for the Aged in Quezon City last week and with children battling cancer in Child Haus. We honestly believe Rhian could have been a bigger star had she not been involved in a controversial relationship with DJ Mo which pulled her down. Up to now, Mo won’t stop in annoying her but she has chosen not to stoop to his level. The court has issued a Permanent Protection Order for her against him and there still cases waiting for him, so this might be the reason why he cannot come home.
She’s also being linked to an older guy but she’d rather just ignore. “Never mind na lang,” she says. “Basta ayokong magkaroon ng lovelife now and just want to focus on my work. At 25, I think I'm older and wiser. I know my priorities.”
Aside from acting, she wants to put up her own line of apparel. She has already taken up fashion design and pattern making. Next, she wants to learn how to actually sew clothes. “Para malaman ko yung buong process on how to make clothes in preparation for coming up with my own collection.”
As an actress, she has just finished “My Destiny” on TV and she has completed a new movie, “Silong”, with Piolo Pascual, the directorial debut of former singer Jeffrey Hidalgo. The full trailer is now being shown in theatres and it looks interesting. Rhian plays the role of a battered wife who escapes from her abusive husband and finds refuge in Piolo. Rhian and Piolo have arresting on-screen chemistry and look good together.
