Ritz Azul, Ellen Adarna, Alice Dixson, Sunshine Cruz Are The Special Muses Of PBA Teams As It Opens Its 40th Season This Sunday Afternoon

RITZ AZUL, Ellen Adarna, Alice Dixson and Sunshine Cruz will be the special muses as the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) opens its new season in a spectacular event to be held today at 1 PM at the newly-opened Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, aired on TV5. The opening ceremony will celebrate PBA’s milestone 40th season as the first professional basketball league in Asia. Ellen is muse of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Ritz of Meralco Bolts, Sunshine of Blackwater Elite and Alice of San Miguel Beermen.


PBA players who formed Gilas Pilipinas will be honored for participating in the 5th FIBA Asia Cup, 17th Asian Games and the country’s return to the world stage at the 2014 FIBA World Cup. The PBA encourages families to support their teams by attending the live games at the venues as the league celebrates its Ruby year with this season’s theme of “Apat na Dekada ng Nag-iisang Liga!”
