Sheena Halili, Janine Gutierrez Renew Their Exclusive Contracts With GMA -7

Sheena Halili and Janine Gutierrez both renewed their exclusive contracts with GMA Network. The contract signing was held at the GMA Network Center last October 2, 2014.

Present at the event were GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara, GMA Artist Center Talent Manager Vic del Rosario, together with Ms. Lotlot de Leon and Katrina Aguila, representative of Ms. Becky Aguila, as co-managers of GMA Talent Development and Management Department.

Sheena Halili expressed her utmost gratitude for yet another opportunity to pursue her passion and showcase her talents.

“Isang dekada na ako sa GMA, at ngayon, pinapirma nila ulit ako ng another three years na Network contract, and sobrang happy ako dahil bago matapos ang 2014, ang dami dami nilang blessings na ibinigay. Meron akong show, ang Hiram na Alaala. Never akong nabakante magmula nang nag-start ako. Kahit anong character talaga, ipinagkakatiwala nila sa akin,” Sheena shared.

Sheena’s career took flight after joining StarStruck. Following her stint in the reality talent search, Sheena appeared in a string of teleseryes, drama anthologies, variety shows, and movies. Her current on-screen pursuits include a role in the primetime drama Hiram na Alaala.

Janine also couldn’t be more thankful for the special blessing she received on her birthday.

“I’m so happy. I feel so blessed that they signed me to be with them again, and I just feel very lucky now kasi parang things are falling into place na magsa-start ang bago kong show tapos pumirma ako ng bagong kontrata, so very hopeful lang ako and optimistic sa future ko, so nagpapasalamat ako sa Kapuso Network,” Janine says.

Janine Gutierrez rose to fame after taking the female lead role in the remake of the well-loved drama series Villa Quintana—in which she starred alongside her love team partner Elmo Magalona. Janine also endeared herself to her fans by appearing in Sunday All Stars. She is currently busy taping scenes for the upcoming drama series More Than Words, her second show with Elmo. Rasonable says the Management has a lot more in store for the two Kapuso actresses.

“Both of them are very talented actresses at they’re homegrown, so masaya tayo na dito pa rin nila piniling ituloy ang kanilang career. Si Janine, she’s working on More Than Words now. This is her second team-up with Elmo, so I’m sure maraming matutuwa. Lahat ng mga Janine-Elmo fans na talagang tinagkilik sila sa Villa Quintana before. This time, hindi heavy drama. Mas kilig pa,” Rasonable says.

“Si Sheena naman is now in Hiram na Alaala. She’s doing drama, so tuloy-tuloy pa rin. We’ll still give them more projects that will hone their craft in acting,” Rasonable adds.
