Why Andrea Torres Is At Her Most Daring In 'Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra'

ANDREA TORRES wore a very revealing gown at the presscon of “Ang Lihim ni Annasandra”, GMA-7’s new afternoon show that starts airing this Monday after “Dading”. All her co-stars are in black and she’s the only one in white, but the neckline plunges almost all the way to her waistline revealing her ample bosom and voluptuous curves.

“It’s my first telefantasya and also my most daring,” she says. “Everytime I transform to a baboy damo, nahuhubaran ako. Mahirap siya gawin kasi nanginginig ako from head to foot as I transform at nalalagyan ng hair ang body ko, but when I watched the results on screen, it’s madugo but worth all our trouble kasi ang ganda lumabas.”

In the story, she is the daughter of Glydel Mercado and Emilio Garcia who was cursed by Rochelle Pangilinan after Emilio accidentally killed Rochelle’s own daughter. Rochelle belongs to a secret tribe called awok who transforms from being human to animal at night. This becomes the secret of Andrea as Annasandra, who has to hide from the public at night. She has two leading men: Mikael Daez as William, a rich businessman, and Pancho Magno as Enrico, the kargador in the market where Andrea works as a vendor. Also in the cast are former beauty queen Maribel Lopez as Rochelle’s awok mom and Joyce Ann Burton as Mikael’s socialite and matapobre mom. Playing contravida in her first teleserye is noted theatre actress Cris Villonco as the model his mom wants for Mikael. Supporting them are Arthur Solinap, Gab de Leon and Erika Padilla as the best friends of Mikael, Pancho and Andrea, respectively, under the direction of Albert Langitan. We ask Andrea how is it being paired with Mikael for the third time after “Sana ay Ikaw na Nga” and “With a Smile”.

“Madali ng katrabaho si Mikael kasi nga magkakilala na kami. Kahit natatapos ang shows namin, we maintain communication with each other. We’ve grown together maging sa acting namin kaya I can say close na kami talaga.”

She has no boyfriend at the moment but being romantically involved with Mikael is remote as we all know he is Megan Young’s “boyfriend sa dilim”. Unlike other afternoon shows that are launched only on GMA-7’s 17th floor conference hall, “Annasandra” had a real ‘bonggang’ prescon at Area 05 because it has the influential Hazel Abonita as program manager.
To promote their new show, Rochelle and Cris are the special guests tonight in GMA News TV’s “Mars”. Cris will show her cooking skills in making a symphony of flavours from a special recipe involving instant noodles. Rochelle will show you how to decorate your old high heeled shows with strips of old comic books. Then together with hosts Camille Prats and Suzi Entrata, they will do isotonic exercises to increase physical strength. Cris is a singer and Rochelle is a dancer.
