Bea Binene Turned 17 And Shares Her Blessings With The Less Fortunate

BEA BINENE turned 17 on November 4 and just like for the past five years, she hosted a party where her guests are kids who are battling the big C. “Nakuha ko ito sa Kapuso Foundation noong nagpa-participate ako sa events nilang Give A Gift sa Mga Batang Pinoy. The kids afflicted with cancer, hindi mo masasabi kung ano ang mangyayari sa kanila, kaya every birthday ko, I want to spend some time with them. Ang dami kong blessings from the Lord. I’m healthy, okay ang career ko, so I should give back. I also join regularly the feeding programs ng Kapuso Foundation."

What’s her gift to herself? “A Valentino bag. But my wish is more for the people I love and those who love me. Gusto ko lang na masaya silang lahat.”

Including her BF Jake Vargas? “Siempre.” How are they now? “Going strong pa rin, lalo ngayong madalas kami nagkikita dahil magkasama kami sa taping ng ‘Strawberry Lane’. We really want to thank the viewers who support our show regularly kaya mataas ang rating namin.”

Bea as Clarissa in “Strawberry Lane” is now officially adopted by Sunshine Dizon and TJ Trinidad as Elaine and Jonathan Villarin. Also adopted with her are Kim Rodriguez as Jack and Joanna Marie Tan as Lupe so they’ve now become a family. But the evil sister of Elaine, Sheryl Cruz as Monique and her husband Jay Manalo as Christopher continue to plot against the kids, with Sheryl making it appear that Jack tried to burn down their factory. Jay tells Sheryl to change her tactic and be nice to the girls so she can plot a better way to hurt them. Jay sees his former girlfriend, Tanya Garcia as Myrna, the real mom of Bea. Bea thought her mom is dead but she turns out to be still alive, but she’s catatonic and doesn’t recognize anyone. Meantime, Jake Vargas as Gabo continues to try his best to woo Bea. Jeric Gonzales as George is still sore at Joanna as Lupe for pretending that she’s a blind girl while Kiko Estrada as Paul tries his best to turn the tomboyish Kim as Jack into a real woman.
